Morning all. I have been on this forum for the nearly 20 years! So whilst this is a little bit of self promotion - it isn't being done by someone who has just registered!
For anyone of a certain age, Subbuteo will be something that many of you (or your dads) will have dabbled with at some point in the last 75 years!
I've been hooked on it for years. I started painting the figures to a decent standard about 10 years ago. I even set up a website http://www.customflicks.co.uk. I have just come back to it in the last few months and have restarted the website. New logo, boxes and teams to share.
I can paint any team specifically to order...
Even if you're not interested in the game or ordering a team, please have a look at the site. There's plenty on the site to look at if you're a football fan. Maybe tell your mates...
Examples of what i've been working on recently (starting with the best ).
Liverpool 2005
Ajax 1995
Boca Juniors 1980
Sporting Lisbon 2019

"...and my inch is like a freight train, so I only use it in self defence"
Yep, I already painted this up . This is my own personal team that I use when playing. I've used the modern/realistic 2K4 figure type. the differnce between the figure types is xplained here http://www.customflicks.co.uk/order.html#team_details
You're age will probabaly which figure type you want. Anybody older than 50 will probabaly have played/collected the Heavyweight figures. Anyone in their 30s and 40s (like me ) will have grown up with the Lightweight figure. The 2K4 were created as a specialist figure that came out after Subbuteo went the way of the Dinosaur (alsong with Model Trains, Scalextric and otherboard games!)

I personally love the classic LightWeight figure. I do most of my painting on these figures. To me they're classic Subbuteo...

Love that the game is named after one of the UK's most dashing Falcons.
