Week 17 results
Games continue to be postponed as a result of Covid, not helped by bell-end players breaking the rules, which is making the task of racking up a big score that much harder than it normally is anyway. However despite these difficulties this week provided a bumper set of double figure scores, with five people managing to achieve that particular feat. Whilst four participants will have to cram themselves onto the second place step of this week's podium as a result of scoring ten points apiece (Balinkay, Charliev, Fayyazms, and Reddownunder), the person who can look down on those four desperately trying not to fall and break their necks is this week's winner Kev0909 who topped scored with twelve points.
This week's special mentions go to Kev0909 for getting three perfect scores, but also everyone who posted a set a predictions this week, as everyone who did so managed to get at least one perfect score, which I believe is the first time that has happened in the history of the predictions league. Every single one of those perfect scores came from the same four games, which makes it all the more annoying for those like me who only managed to get a solitary perfect score.
Week 17 scores
Kev0909 = 12 points (3 perfect scores & 3 correct results - MU v AV, CP v SU, NU v LC)
Balinkay = 10 points (2 perfect scores & 4 correct results) - NU v LC, CH v MC
Charliev = 10 points (2 perfect scores & 4 correct results - MU v AV, CH v MC
Fayyazms = 10 points (2 perfect scores & 4 correct results - CP v SU, CH v MC)
Reddownunder = 10 points (2 perfect scores & 4 correct results - MU v AV, NU v LC)
Skyebo = 9 points (2 perfect scores & 3 correct results - CP v SU, CH v MC)
RedNoodle = 8 points (1 perfect score and 5 correct results - MU v AV)
BlackSalmon = 7 points 8 (1 perfect score and 5 correct results - MU v AV)
CCTV = 7 points (1 perfect score and 4 correct results - NU v LC)
Dicko1969 = 7 points (1 perfect score and 4 correct results - MU v AV)
Ianlfc = 6 points (1 perfect score and 4 correct results - MU v AV)
Redebreck = 6 points (1 perfect scores & 3 correct results CP v SU
Joetan = 5 points (1 perfect score and 2 correct results CP v SU)
Current standings
Skyebo = 112
Reddownunder = 106
Charliev = 102
Redebreck = 101
Fayyazms = 99
Kev0909 = 99
Dicko1969 = 97
Joetan = 97
CCTV = 96
Balinkay = 95
RedNoodle = 95
Ianlfc = 93
Justme = 85
BlackSalmon = 69
So at the end of week 18 Skyebo still tops the league, where he holds a six point lead over Reddownunder in second. Charliev leapfrogs Redebreck into third, whilst Kev0909 gets his season back on track and moves up four places as a result of his week winning total, and he now occupies the EL spot alongside Fayyazms who himself moved up three places.
