I'd take Sokratis in all honesty. He's decent - not great but decent. Don't know why the Arsenal fans had such a problem with him. Plus he knows Klopp who bought him at the BVB.

Etiam si omnes, ego non
Mane is on closer to £150k per week - he had that contract negotiation/update.
At one stage I had a contracts/squad stage going as a reference point for this type of thing - I'll have a dig and see if I can find a date on a post where I say he's had his contract updates, as I think he had two upgrades to his contract within 18 months of each other, something like (this is totally ball-park so don't take it literally) going from £80kish per week to £100kish per week, then the jump from £100kish per week to £150kish per week, to tie in with the fact that Salah had gone up to roughly £200k per week and Firmino roughly £180k per week.
Again, ball-park, so don't take too literally.
Coolio.......i wouldt mind 100 grand a decade to be honest....my concern was more about hanging on to top players if their wages weren't proportional to their status...
Socratis has gone to Olympiacos. Boo.

That's definitely an issue we have had in the past and I think we're gradually getting better with.
Having Lovren and Lallana taking a combined £210k a week for example is something that we did well to get shot of. I know some will see Lovren's name and bring up whether we should have brought someone in or not but that's a separate discussion of course.
We do have others on the books who aren't meriting their wages these days, though it's moreso through being injury-prone than being poor players.
So we’ve climbed above city and PSG in relation to club worth.....
“Looks out into horizon to see potential new January signings”.....
You know if you told anyone 15 years ago that we would have to climb above Manchester City OR PSG - they would ask... wow how far would we need to fall first... Just shows what those cowboys H&G - did to us in just a few short years..!
While at the very same time both City & PSG found miraculous wealth via petrodollar ownership... Hmm
Shows how fast the landscape can change. It also has to be said that Liverpool football club is more than twice the size of both City and PSG combined.
The fact that Barcelona are considered the most valuable club in football right now, yet have debts in excess of £1bn says it all about where the game is at.
