Im glad its not down to me when choosing players that are expensive. theres been many a massive flop. I know its early days. But havertz at Chelsea looks a massive expensive mistake.

Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Yep i think Werner will improve. Not sure of Havertz though. No idea where he fits into an 11.

Both Werner and Havertz haven’t had a single season yet - plus 2 managers!
How about Naby Keita?
£48 million in summer 2017- for a 2018 start! It’s March 2021 and we are still waiting to see something.
So much in football is about luck. Some seasons you get bad injuries and others you don’t. You sign players and never really know how things will transpire. Most fans can’t see it or except it when their team benefits but that is the way it is.
It’s a results based business.
LeBron James Partners close to 536m deal with FSG. Summer funds? I should coco.
I think Werner is a good player he played well for Leipzig for 2 years but Chelsea is abit of a graveyard for strikers !
Havertz has been poor but his best position is number 9/10 but they sometimes play him wide it’s a case of signing a player for the sake of it.
Don’t worry about Naby he will get a groin injury on international duty next week and a 3 week injury will turn into a “ see you in pre season” shame really as he played well when he came on last night.
