Oh very much so.
Sometimes managers are suited for a particular job with a particular club, or at a particular time (usually a transition) or a certain situation (traditionally Allardyce did well for those fighting relegation) but a top Manager should, in theory, have their "methods translate"
across different clubs, or be able to adapt to the squad they inherit.
To give another Man United example, I think Roy Keane could probably do a respectable (not brilliant) job with Man United, yet I feel he'd be incredibly limited almost anywhere else.
I also would quite like to see Zidane manage somewhere that wasn't Real Madrid, Juventus or one of the top French clubs (or indeed their national side) - would he do well at Hoffenheim or Everton or Bilbao? We can't know for sure without seeing it, but you catch my drift.
