Virgil definitely has lost that air of invincibility. His passing and leadership has helped us compared to last season but he’s not the player he was yet.

Regarding Jones. To me ive always thought he was an inside left player. in kinda role Coutinho played. time will tell if he has enough end product

Given a few soft goals away this season by following a lad back playing him on when Trent and Matip or Konate had held their nerve and the line to play him off, a mixture of Virgil and Robbo being guilty of that far too frequently for my liking

Virgil will get back there eventually, just games, it will take lots of games from how long he was out

Hes almost nonchalant at times. Like that backpass, it's just slack.

I've always thought he's just another local lad who's been ridiculously overhyped well above his actual ability because he's a local lad, doesn't back himself, if you look at Foden for comparison, he's absolutely miles better than Jones will ever be and he apparently worked his bollocks off this season to get a bit quicker too, something Jones would do very well to try and emulate
