Barcelona are in talks with Wolves over a move for Adama Traore.
Barca have offered a loan move with a £29m option to make a deal permanent.
Traore would prefer to move to Barcelona and hasn't been convinced by Tottenham's offer to use him in a variety of positions.
Traore started his career at Barcelona and has gone on to become a Spain international.
wtf?

Option to buy though. Option.
Depending on the subtleties, that could be the key bit.
Barcelona need Champion's League football. If they take Traore on loan and he gives them the little 2-5% extra that gets them over the line, then his wages (if they even have to pay the full lot) for 5-6 months could very well be a price worth paying to finish 3rd/4th instead of 5th/6th.
Then just say "sorry Adama buddy, funds are tight to make the deal permanent".
Could work well for them. Now, if it turns out it's an OBLIGATION to buy, it's a different kettle of fish entirely.

Sid knows he's crazy and he likes it. Balinkay
Monaco and Leeds approaches about Minamino, we've declined.
Atalanta considering Origi if their other striking target falls through.
Pinches of salt and all that.

Just to add on Traore -
- Mane had 123 goals+assists in 186 games before joining Liverpool.
- Salah had 132 goals+assists in 251 games before joining Liverpool.
- Traore has 81 goals+assists (with only 23 of those beinf goals) in 316 appearances.
He's strong. He'd fast. But he doesn't look an elite player whatsoever.
He might provide an extra 1% that Barcelona need (and they're not far behind the Top 4 spots at all now, with respectable form over their last 5 League matches) but he certainly isn't one to build around.
"Considering" a late swoop for Diaz.
so thats a maybe "not" not if we dont sell players of our own
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Three prominent Liverpool journalists – including Goal’s Neil Jones, The Times’ Paul Joyce and the Echo’s Paul Gorst – have confirmed the club is attempting to sign Luis Diaz before the winter winter draws to a close next Monday.
The trio have confirmed that the club is looking to finalise a deal worth roughly £37.5m for the Colombian’s services.
