Wars happen because we separate people, exclude them, see them as 'other', and as separate from 'us', when in reality we are all one humanity, brothers and sisters. One Love. ...but we don't trust love so it is easier to be in fear and exclude 'other' people. and if we see them as 'other' then it is easier to hate and kill them (or to supply weapons for someone else to do the dirty work). Russia and Ukraine have been fighting for years, and we in the West haven't given a damn about them until now that it suits us.
Wars also happen because the masses buy into the old idea of "good guys and bad guys" (more separation), they think: "Russian bad, Ukrainian good" when for sure there are crimes being committed by both sides, just like in any other war you can think of. It's just that we justify the crimes on one side because we separate and identify with one side.
Excluding tennis players from Wimbledon because they are from Russia or Belarus is promoting exclusion and war, it does fuck all to help Ukraine. It further promotes the idea that Russians are 'other', and different to us. It is the same mentality that last century saw the great British public killing German dog breeds that were formerly beloved pets. Crazy.
The more we separate and divide the harder it will be to build peace when this is all over.

Peace as never been attained in the entire history of human kind..Right now its not possible and i doubt it ever will be. Be nice to live in a world without war and poverty and hunger.. But right now its not realistic. and all we can do is fight back oppression

That's the thing, the West has been sitting back and letting Ukraine take it. This conflict has been going on for years and we sat back, if we want world peace then we need to work at it, at least as hard as we work at war.
Everyone argues that they are fighting back oppression. Putin reckons he is rooting out Nazis in Ukraine.
This week defence minister James Heappey said it was "entirely legitimate" for Ukraine to take the war to Russia and attack military targets on Russian soil, further escalating the war. He said that attacking supply lines is a "legitimate part of war".
What if Putin decides okay, it's legitimate for Russia to attack Ukraine's supply lines too? Like bombing the British towns where anti-tank missiles are made? fair enoughski? This is going to escalate because it is the only way people can see.
