Am in mountainous terrain with limited Data so can't see exactly when the game ends.
To say it's been a "mixed" start to the season wouldn't do things justice.
To be 2-0 down to Brighton is far from ideal. To then make a huge effort to get a 3-2 lead, only to concede a third goal - quite the gut punch.
Will the Champion's League provide a distraction? Or heap on the concern?

It's bloody Rangers. One would seriously be hoping we can conjure a positive result here. Surely?

"it's bloody rangers"
Don't worry, Klopp made super subs resting players for said game so we only drew against brighton.

we are liverpool football club, not fucking norwich.
No Milner. He’s finito
Alisson
Gomez Konate Van Dijk Milner
Henderson Thiago Elliott
Jota Nunez Diaz
Elliott simply doesn't and won't work at RCM, he is far too one footed and even if he was as astute as we need our players to be in their reading of the game and positioning, pressing and counter pressing and defensive duties, that he can't play a pass or put a ball in with his right foot is just too problematic and stifling to our play and ability to create chances, Jurgen needs to bite the bullet and swallow his pride on this one and try and use him at LCM where he can do those things and play our forwards and full backs in and play switches, I genuinely think Elliott might be a hit at LCM, while he's a catastrophic miss-fit at RCM
Fab isn't even a midfielder, let alone a DM, he's a right back converted to playing as a DM at a very late age and it shows, it is glaringly obvious, he doesn't have the reading of the game and positional awareness and astuteness midfielders have through having played the position their entire lives and he won't ever have it or develop it.
The plus side of all teams constantly trying to attack our flanks we could use to our advantage, given Fab isn't pressed a lot of the time and has time on the ball and because of his lack of athleticism, pace or mobility to play right across the pitch most games just pass by with him being a virtual passenger, not having to defend because they don't attack our centre and he doesn't get into wide areas, not having to make meaningful passes because we all know he's hopeless on the ball, we may as well give Thiago some games at No6 to try and long overdue use his passing to the effect we imagined he would when we signed him
Thiago is more mobile and far more astute in his reading of game and positioning than Fab will ever be, as is Hendo, so we may as well use this game to try having our LCM as our more attacking mid and see how we get on, Elliott will likely look a far better player at LCM as he has decent ability with the ball and in this line up he'll be supported by 2 midfielders who are far FAR better without the ball than Fab will ever be
Look to get a lead and as good a lead as possible and to not play Hendo, Thiago or Virgil any longer than an hour, hopefully no longer than 45 minutes - Options are there to move Millie into midfield bringing on Tsimikas or moving Gomez to LB and bringing Trent on, Joel can come on for Virgil moving Konate to LCB

To say we need a win here is an understatement.
Rangers are our opposition for our 3rd and 4th Champion's League matches. So if (and that is one almighty "if" right now) we scraped two wins together and results went the right way in the Ajax v Napoli matches, we could be in a strong position for the final 2 games.
Currently I couldn't care less about whether we top the group or finish second - I just want us to be in the knockout stages in 2023.
