Why are they not coming ?

I'm not talking about unproven youngsters, Enzo is top class, he's displaying that in his league and in the Champions League against top class opposition, NOW is the time to buy players of his ability, as we should have for 10m in the summer, we HAVE the experience in midfield with Hendo, Thiago and Milner, we need to add top class ability and engines around them, Enzo and Barella in January would fit the bill nicely, then another in the summer

Having the correct attributes, technically, mentally and physically and having demonstrated the ability to showcase them consistently at the highest level is what matters, their age does not.

Enzo is so suited to our midfield and how we played at our very best and the performances he's showing week in week out against top sides, your argument is like saying MBappe was an unproven youngster when every club wanted him, it's the exact same thing, some players just very obviously have everything you need and age is not a factor, you're sounding like Rick Parry or Rodgers looking to sign the next Rickie Lamberto, Dejan Lovren (when we could have had Virgil from Celtic who went to Saints to replace him, ooh, too young when Lovren was Prem proven ) Clint Dempsey and thank FUCK that didn't happen or we'd STILL be scratching around for our first title in 30 odd years

Enzo with Thiago and Hendo works fine for me, Barella to replace the soon to be departing Keita and Oxlade would also be ideal, that gives us four top players for midfield and Millie to play some games or part of games to rest legs

We need lads who are good enough now and will only get better to get familiar with both the 433 and 4231 systems and playing them with the rest of the players who will be there with them long after Hendo and Thiago are NOW, that's the point surely

Ward Prowse has some great attributes, he's 27 about to turn 28, he's English, he'd cost the same or more as Enzo and isn't as good NOW, we don't need players like that, we need the players like Enzo, who not only has the passing of Hendo to be direct and Thiago to play different types of passing, he has an incredible engine, like Gini and Hendo in their prime and he has both their incredibly astute reading of the game and positional sense and ability - Ward-Prowse is nowhere near Enzo's class, NOWHERE near - Enzo's better than Hendo and Thiago right now, having their experience of the other players and expert positioning along with him is ideal

We've changed the system and it's made Fab's deficiencies even more glaringly obvious, made Thiago irreplaceable when he previously wasn't and made Hendo even more irreplaceable than ever

Get ENzo in for January, horses head in the bed, whatever it takes, get Barella too to replace both Oxlade and Keita who will both be leaving on free in the summer if at all possible and IF Havertz becomes available, fucking get him for fucks sake

Harsh reality is going forward we need 2 1st teamers in midfield, Thiago is the only one at the level we need now, and he's getting on a bit too.

So 2 midfielders to come straight in, with a youngster....

Enzo's got the engine, positioning and reading of the game, battling qualities and is a baller, the RIGHT TYPE of baller, he's like Hendo in his prime and Thiago rolled into one, more Hendo in playing the ball when it's on and playing the right balls for our players, more Thiago in having greater variation in his passing

Enzo is worth more to us than a lot of other clubs, for many other clubs he'd be a very good player, for how we play and our players strengths and the kind of service they like, he'd be an absolute star, any player at any club could get a bad knock any game, firts game or otherwise, Thiago didn't not succeed after he recovered because of the injury he got, he didn't succeed because he was the wrong signing with the wrong type of passing for our players

Barella to replace Keita and Oxlade who will both leave on frees in the summer as the more attacking RCM with Elliott being the youngster

Add another mid in January, Hendo goes to rotation as Kev suggests, I see Hendo in the Milner role for a couple more seasons after this, a valuable, hugely experienced rotation player to rest legs, but more able to step into midfield for a run of games if necessary because of any knocks, because of the legs he would now have around him he once had and his highly astute reading of the game and positioning

Need to keep tabs on Havertz, absolutely incredible player, LFWD RFWD No9 False 9 attacking RM

Chelsea have really taken liberties with Havertz, people knocking the lad, well, if I'd played as I did to then find them bringing in donkey Lukaku, been asked to come back in, been brilliant again to then find them signing Aubameyang and Sterling, I'd be fucking pissed and feel totally and completely undervalued and under appreciated

He is not only an exceptionally talented footballer, he can operate in 6 positions across both our 433 and 4231 formations and he's worth top wages and just 23 years old

I was gobsmacked we let Werner go back to Leipzig, he's a great player, I saw him play several full 90's for Leipzig, Chelsea just didn't play to his strengths, didn't play the ball early enough when it was on (as we do), their 343 didn't suit him, having Donkey Lukaku there for so many games instead of getting a continued run with Havertz...............

Let's not make that mistake again, City are apparently interested in Havertz should he become available, we need him more, he suits how we play in either system far better - They're clearly looking at him for his ability in any of the several positions he can play - As a No9 now they have Haaland there for when they rest him - As a No10 or RFWD to create directly for Haaland

He's a player we need to play with Nunez and as our No9 in games we rest Nunez or he's not available, Bobby will also be leaving this summer, ideal Bobby replacement, potentially far better than Bobby in his pomp

Fat Frank only bought Havertz and Werner as both were absolutely ideal for us and we wanted both, he moved for them to price us out of the market on fee and wages at a time when no-one else was in for either who would have been a problem, both being ideal for us hasn't changed and if we had landed both, we'd be in a lot better shape right now with the balance and goalscoring of our attacking contingent

Havertz was almost all set to come to Anfield prior to Fat Frank's advances maybe be good to remind him of the mistake he or most likely his agent made when deciding which Prem club to join first time around when he becomes available again
