Will allow x3 new 'foreign' players next summer .
Yep, will certainly help in the Summer.

Folks that are looking for transfers for January though....I think they'll be disappointed.

Joelinton would deffo put legs in midfield and would surely move given his current wages https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-tyne-64412529

Not a chance. They can afford way higher wages than we can, his Agent just has to go in and say there’s interest from elsewhere and it will be done.

I think its pretty evident we aint signing any midfielder.. We've had this before over the last 2/3 seasons.. we have hope and look for basically cheap deals or loans. nothing else

Irrespective of our frugality, we can't sign anyone. Not without letting someone go.

    It's a squad spaces issue. We're full.

Now, if we could let someone go now (who is actually prepared to leave and not stick around to pick up the last months of their wages....) then we could make a space for an incoming player.

But at this stage of the window you run the risk of letting someone leave and not replacing them in time for Midnight on the 31st.

With the above in mind I will be gobsmacked if we do business.

Rumours of BHA wanting Ox but only if we let him go for free now. Don't see why they wouldn't. If he stays he's robbing another million in wages. Let him go,free up a space and bring in Rice for 100m. Easy as that.

Something akin to this would be ideal if we can find an affordable player that ticks the right boxes and if Ox were actually willing to depart.

I hate that accounts are always out of date. I know in 21/22 we owed roughly £114m in transfer fees (they're usually done in instalments, Van Dijk was allegedly 3 x £25m for example) but have no idea what we owe now.

So, our much needed January midfield signing to try and make up for the lack of at least 2 senior midfield signings need over the last 18 months…. appears to be an 18 year old. An 18 year old who is already at the club, an 18 year old who already signed a deal with us, just 5 months ago. Actually his 3rd new deal at the club in just over a year.

    What a farce.

    Poor Jurgen.

The sooner this takeover happens and they just fuck right off the better.

I think the ratings are very accurate tbf - except Doak. The guy has barely kicked a ball.. or get a 7 seems a little premature.
7.5 almost rates as outstanding. None of our midfield have been anywhere near outstanding.
Of all our midfield players, I agree Thiago has performed better than any others.
Personally I would rate him 6.0/6.5.
    Just my opinion.
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief
