What makes that first half worse is that a very weak Palace side totally played into our hands for 45 minutes and yet they came closest to scoring a couple of times through gifts from several of our own shockingly poor players.
Trent and Keita seriously could not have been worse if they were trying to be dropped for the next game.
The rest were average at best.

We are playing with no left side attacker.. Jota and Gakpo taking it in turns to keep the width. But often theres only Robbo down that side.

Half time, poor half from us, sloppy half, players not showing, players not making runs for our Cbs, Trent or Hendo to try and connect, I'd have Bajcetic on for Keita immediately and move Milner to RCM
We need players making runs, Matip, Trent, Virgil and Hendo are getting time and space, looking for runners to pick out, no-one's making the runs for them
Gakpo needs to show more and greater composure too, he's been excellent the last 3 games, but he looks very flat and flat footed tonight and is overdoing things or rushing them, just be decisive lad, the early one he could have played Mo in, he got that easy simple ball all wrong to open up the goal for Mo
Over to Jurgen to try and stir these lads and get a bit more quality out of them in all those areas, we've passed it not bad at times, we've released Wagbo in loads of time and space 4, 5 or 6 times and he's done nothing with it, being released in that time and space is golden at this level, he needs to do more
