True enough. Maybe Chelsea have made him a daft offer, something that was always gonna happen. We were never winning a cash battle with them.
It's all odd, sudden 111m bid for a player we've shown zero interest in for that last 8 months.

I avoid transfer gossip. This thread is a good reminder why I do that. Roll on the end of the transfer window so this nonsense can come to an end.

If Caicedo does sign for us, a lot of people are going to look very silly. Even if he doesn't it seems we have over £100m available for someone else. That's good with me.
