Well it’s hardly good is it mate ? It’s embarrassing, we have had months to perform due diligence and find out whether a deal could be done , now we bid mammoth amounts and almost announce the signing via our manager to be beaten to it , it’s completely garbage on our part ,

He's reminding me of the drug dealers last year when the Queen died. They all shit themselves when they thought all the bank notes were going to be changed. They were spending the cash like a drunken sailor 🤣🤣

The man has seen out his contracts where he has been allowed and will have been at Liverpool longer than any other job he has had.

He is paid Ł15,700,000 per year and gets to manage top talent.

There is an insistence among parts of our fanbase that he will walk. Personally, I will be surprised if he does and if he did, I would imagine it will be down to the changing landscape of football rather than our ownership model - if managing Liverpool was like managing at Dortmund we would have seen Alisson, Van Dijk and Salah sold to Man City or Man United by now.

The World's bleak enough. Klopp has given us nearly 8 full seasons of footie and there's every chance we'll get a 9th and a 10th. Enjoy it.

I don't think he's the type to complain about getting to work for a dream club on those wages.

Folks might want to also consider that Chelsea is feeding loads of shite to the media about what the player wants. No reputable source has confirmed anything about the player’s intent or wishes. At this point it is brinksmanship between two clubs, Brighton, and the player. The first thing Chelsea wants is LFC to walk away and has all their “sources” out there saying he doesn’t want to play for LFC. Meanwhile the supporters of both clubs are losing their minds.

Better to burn out than to fade away.

Yes It's a different landscape now obviously and the fact we are struggling to get things done is immensely frustrating for us so imagine what it's like for him.
This is the second absolute shit show of a summer window, one where we're even more desperate than last.
The whole debacle has left the club looking ridiculous again, They clearly do not have the right people in place to do these deals. If Caicedo was a possibility why have they waited till now? Because it's a pure posturing half baked panic buy attempt that looks to have blown up in their face.
Add to that to whole carry on with Lavia and it's just not on. Regardless of what he's paid or what's gone before there's a limit to what people will stand for.

Who is moderating? I am simply telling the geezer - who has appeared out of the blue - and making snide remarks WHY the crux of his argument is so ridiculous.

A forum seems to be the right place to do just that.

I'm ok with not signing Lavia. Had no idea who he is...at best he's a prospect not really a 1st choice cdm.

Caicedo, reports suggesting his "camp" let us know that he was open to joining. I think he probably was/is. He was also keen to join Arsenal in Jan. He's also agreed personal terms with Chelsea since June.

Chelsea were pissing around with the fee (similar to us with Lavia) I think his agent lied to us to bait Chelsea to bid the 100m. They prob didnt expect us to bid 110 and for Brighton to except.
