Allison is rumoured to be a target for the Saudi clubs. No way we should be letting him go.

    Indeed we shouldn't.

Potentially multi-layered this. Liverpool and Man United are the two biggest names in football. If the Saudis can get players from there, they can get them from anywhere - it sends a big message. Who would have predicted that Ronaldo, Benzema and Neymar would all end up there at the same time just a few years ago? Think we saw it coming eventually but they are hoovering up names faster than I anticipated and certainly with more success than the Chinese League ever did.

Then there's PIF being involved with Newcastle and also involved via Clearlake in Chelsea - what better way to try and increase the odds of getting your teams into the Champion's League spots than by attempting to destabilise a rival?

Shit, next Chelsea will be loaning players to Newcastle to balance Chelsea's books and help Newcastle out. Cucurella says "hello" - annoyingly this!

Anyway - Alisson must stay with us. There are players we could get away with letting go of - he is not one of them.

Liverpool are considering as many as six defensive midfield targets, including Fulham and Portugal international Joao Palhinha, 28, and Crystal Palace and Mali midfielder Cheick Doucoure, 23. (Mail)

And he's very good friends with Ricky Gervais by all accounts

It's like in football manager when you're in serious debt and the club won't pay for scouting outside the region. With the money the club has there should be scouts in every corner of the globe

The meaning is pretty clear. Especially when you see what it was in response to. The fact that 2 players are choosing to play for Chelsea over us - after the calamity at that club and after what we have won of late - beating them in 2 cup finals just over a year ago..

I am suggesting that it looks like Klopp is going to walk. Or at least like players and agents THINK he may be. OR that he has almost no say in the running of the club anymore. Which is what I have also stated.

The logic being... that agents and players who once would have chosen us over Chelsea - despite us not winning a bean..(Ahem Oxlade) are now choosing a club they feel is more well placed.

The Aura of Liverpool FC gone.. back to where it was post Klopp. Unable to attract players over Arsenal, Chelsea or United

    "The aura blown to bits.""

Who could say - (nob protectors apart...) in light of Caicedo and Lavia.. that it doesn't look like that?
With Caicedo it has nothing to do with our aura. Modern footballers are mercenaries. That nostalgic view we older folks have of football is gone. Players are going to choose AL Ettifaq over Real Madrid soon cause of money. Robinho didn't even know City existed when he signed for them. Newcastle are soon going to pull in the biggest names in world football, they are going to be the galacticos of Europe. And it is going to have nothing to do with history, aura, plastic or not plastic.

Lavia wanted to come club didn't value him higher than a certain amount. That was economics not aura.
