Well, the day has come. The draw will take place at 12pm and no doubt there will be lots of needless faffing about with the whole thing.
The prize for this year's finalists is to play in Dublin - if we reach the Final I think there will be lads swimming their way over!
On paper, unless we are very unlucky in terms of which sides "drop down" from the Champion's League, we really have to be one of the favourites and I hope we take the knockout rounds seriously.
Just to add an incredibly optimistic (and probably unrealistic, but it's Friday!) bit of info for you - no side has won the Premier League and the Europa League in the same season in the Premier League era - no pressure lads
Sincerely though, here is the schedule for the group stage -
Matchday One - Thursday September 21st
Matchday Two - Thursday October 5th
Matchday Three - Thursday October 26th
Matchday Four - Thursday November 9th
Matchday Five - Thursday November 30th
Matchday Six - Thursday December 14th
Long way to go but let's win this thing. It may not be as highly-valued as the Champion's League but that trophy is a thing of beauty and Sevilla get to hold it aloft far too often!

We will be fine - should do well. Hopefully IF we make it - prefer we don’t meet a technical side in the final.
I buzz about all of our European campaigns - the Champion's League is preferable in a lot of aspects (more money, more attractive to transfers, likelihood of playing European power-houses) but the Europa has plenty going for it as well.
- Beautiful trophy
- Chance of playing a club we've never encountered for the first time
- Diversity of stadiums/teams (we have encountered many sides before to the point where the Champion's League is almost too predictable at times
- Good for the co-efficient
- Unlikely to play Real Madrid or Man City which I welcome at this stage of transition
- Amazing chance for younger players to get used to European football in an environment where they're less likely to be on the receiving end of a spanking
- Still keeps us attractive to a whole load of players out there who yearn to play any form of European footie as they don't regularly play for a Champion's League competitor
- Final is in Dublin this year if we get that far
- Chance to make wonderful memories ("Lovreeeeeen!!!!!!!!!!")
Really looking forward to it.
Out at the first hurdle hopefully...
