At Fukin last and I’ll be held accountable for these words , I think he will turn out to be our best midfielder, in 6 months will be our main player , and the fact that I think szoboslai is incredible it’s a big shout

    Mac Allister Gravenberch Szobozslai

This is now an interesting prospect, if Jurgen and his coaching staff can watch the 15 full 90's with Gini Hendo + any other at RCM and get thes 3 working and communucating as well together and rotating seamlessly through the 3 midfield positions, get Trent back at his playmaking from deeper, creating from further forward best at RB best, developing any 1 of the mids providing the width and cover at times for him to make forays forward more centrally also, this could really be something

I just hope the failure of imagination and coaching and favouritism to one player who couldn't work in a more fluid set up like that which prevented us evolving post 19-20 doesn't rear its ugly head again

Great possibilities to see a massive resurgence on our left with Robbo in tandem with Diaz also

It could be done, but it needs specific games, drills with more micro management at first to instill the patterns, movement and understanding that we've seen precious little of from Jurgen while his counterparts at City and Brighton have excelled at it

He will wear the coveted number 38 shirt, as worn by so many illustrious players from the club’s past.

Milner, Henderson, Fabinho, Ox, Keita - out.

Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Endo, Gravenberch - in.

Quite the turnover! I do like the look of our midfield business this Summer I must say!

His first Ajax shirt - possibly symbolic (for him) of a new start - a great choice.

Although that list of incomings looks like a considerable upgrade in terms of performance levels going forward, we still haven’t brought in a long term 6.

Still desperately need a CB too.

I’m probably one of the only ones but I’m so happy we didn’t get caicedo and got gravenberch , there could be an element of a holding midfielder a destructive 6 not being there , but I’m absolutely buzzing at the prospect of seeing gravenberch McAllister and szob all in the same midfield . I would of loved maybe another CB bit I’m happy I think we will go close this season

Can't believe i've finally got my Hendo and Gini upgrades on paper at least, i've been banging on about being our best evolutionary course for 5 years, so only a cycle and attempted failed evolution and signing of an overpaid fancy Dan crock too late

These lads have it all to prove though, in the pressing and counter pressing organising and leadership stakes especially, having the physical attributes and better technical attributes is great, know how, leadership, that steely resolve and awareness and the kind of consistency we saw from Gini and Hendo doesn't automatically come with that
