Surprised that Emery isn't being mentioned much.

Would think he’s in the top 7-8 on the list. His spell at Arsenal probably making big clubs shy away

Some people mentioning Postecoglu.Seems a likeable man. Plays attacking football. Managed Celtic. Was a boyhood Liverpool fan. I'd pick him over Gerrard, but would still much prefer Alonso.

I was looking at us today and thinking, we look like having a great squad here. Some young lads coming through and performing. New purchases bedded in. We look to be in great shape. With am energised klopp with this group of players we could be into a brilliant few years.

But now, it's all uncertain and up in the air. Someone mentioned it above, Alonso doesn't play our style, so if he comes in, does he rip up everything our players k ow and start with his style? It's just a shame with the way we are currently looking that it won't be klopp to bring this group further.

IMO it’s Alonso and imo Klopp has had a say in it and the club have had indications from Alonso that he will take the job and bring in all his staff hence why Klopp's staff are going - and Klopp feels comfortable going and leaving the rebuild because he knows that the club will be in safe hands with Xabi.....

I think the person that they will get very soon will be the DoF as well....
