Architects of our own downfall. Spurs game the same.

The league is so tough that you can’t give City a sniff and that’s exactly what we are doing.

What happens to the team to suddenly put in a performance so far off the pace?

Fucks sake Elliott a championship ball that Elliott just doesn’t seem to have premier league level passing crossing or shooting in him

    Come on dude
I'm not talking nonsense, you know for a fact that Macca was NOWHERE near as bad as Trent was today, in his first game return from injury.

The comparison wasn't on the games that he's played since.
It was from that first game, and you know that as well.

Straight up question (yes or no. Spare me any bollox explanations):

Was Macca this bad on his first game return from his injury?

I'll help you out and give you a hint : He wasn't subbed at the half.

    Stop making excuses for him.
    You're NOT helping him.
This is why he's a worse player now than when he was as a teenager starting for us.

When are people going to get this through their thick heads?

That’s 3 good efforts Mac Allister has had today. Chances of him scoring a late one?

Ideal - yes - but if our goal difference was good we could still make do with being level with Man City after X games played rather than being a point behind.

Lineup changes that Klopp was forced to make due to Conor's family grief and Szobo's injury and Nunez tweaking his back.

The players that came in were all uniformly worse (Trent, Gravenberch and Gakpo. Less so Gakpo but he's been less effective a threat up front than Nunez normally is even when not scoring).
