We absolutely mullered them in that second half, how many teams can do that against them.
Some brilliant performances. Elliot,Endo and Max were outstanding.

    It was in our hands.

    (..or more pointedly,....on Diaz' feet)
Arsenal still have to go away to Spurs who are chasing CL and will be desperate to eff them up. Plus Old Trafford where they are usually poor.

I think they'll go for the win hoping we draw or drop points in some other game.

    They're still in the race.
No reason for them to let Arsenal get the win.

FT Great match but we should have won that Diaz for all his efforts later the main culprit missed 2 absolute gift wrapped chances we urgently need a new forward who can play LFWD & RFWD in the Mane mould in the summer

I would have kept Nunez on he wasn’t flagging & Sloppo I guess they’re both just back from injury but we lost a considerable amount of intensity with those subs

Tough pick for MOTM Virgil Mac and Gomez the main contenders for me

That should have been a pen for me late late on high foot followed through I make that 7 points VAR have robbed us of now

Really missed Jota today, Diaz is not a finisher but a creator and carrier, Gakpo is a big drop in quality after the other forwards. Nobody can come off the bench as an impact striker right now

True - I should have said - IF it looks like it’s between us and the Arse - they will. Quite right - if they are in it still they would obviously go for it themselves

Agree, doesn't help jota misses half of the season, most seasons, gakpo will never be good enough, someone else needs to come in.

Brighton at home and shef utd at home before we play utd, both teams been doing poor, lets put some goals past them both.

April is a fairly kind month on paper, just need to beat utd away.
