Liverpool will now pursue other candidates to succeed Jürgen Klopp at the end of the season after he announced he would be departing Anfield after nine years in charge. According to The Times, the shortlist of other candidates being considered for the role has now been revealed.
The list consists of Sporting Club de Portugal boss Rúben Amorim, Brighton and Hove Albion head coach Roberto De Zerbi, Benfica manager Roger Schmidt and finally RC Lens coach Franck Haise. According to the ECHO, Amorim is the favored candidate at this moment.
From a new potential managers perspective:
Seeing how well recognised and documented - by neutrals, pundits and rival fans alike - Klopp's over achievement is.. and despite the chants of "only one Premier League title" blah blah... with us being the most successful club in the land and all..
Which one of you would take the job following Klopp?
It's a very scary task at a club working to our business model. IMO an almost impossible ask. Such a big one that it seems to have broken our Jurgen prematurely.
Unless the purse strings are massively loosened to allow us to buy the best first and not have to lose and arm to gain a couple of legs..
I believe we are going to have to literally arm twist the next man into the hot seat. Hopefully Zebedee's interview goes South tomorrow.

You'd think he will have been asked but maybe he's turned down the chance and wants to take in something with less pressure.
If he took it and it didn't work out his stock takes a hit and it can be damaging. The likes of Gerrard and Lampard took big jobs early with varying results.
I'd personally like to have seen him given a chance for continuity purposes.
