No we absolutely bid and wanted that - but Jürgen has always had the capacity to "make do"/adapt/find a way and once it didn't happen we have gotten on with business.

In the same vein I don't think we had our Heart set on Gravenberch, but saw an opportunity to grab a top talent for an incredibly reasonable fee and we've thought "do it - work out where we could him for later" - whether we go on to get that specialist or continue with getting lads who can do a 7/10 or 8/10 in either the 8 or the 6 (as opposed to specialising) remains to be seen - and it may very well be that come January we get one and my take is a million miles off - will know in a couple of months.

You have to laugh at the morons at Chelsea. they ended up buying 2 DMS just to spite us.and desperately needed a striker.

Could have kept Lukaku, De Bruyne, Salah and Musiala over the years - whoops!

Another absolute bargain - sniffs out so much danger.

Would love to see an alternate universe where we had him for a longer spell of his career.

Wataru-San would have been an ideal replacement for Mascherano in an alternate universe, if we could have gotten him that far back.

Really good from Endo today in a massive game against two of the best midfielders on the planet.

Endo is 2 yellows away from missing 2 matches due to the stacking up of fouls.

It will reset after the 32nd League game is played.

He'll likely need to take a yellow for the team against Man United to be fair, so not a lot of wiggle-room for him.

It's a squad game and we have enough to cope without him if he ends up suspended at any stage, but it would be great if he could avoid a booking against Sheffield United.

Last month there was an article about Nunez being in the same boat, on 8 yellows. I'm not sure where he is at now?

He just does the basics any DM No6 should do very well ppl think he’s a revelation because they championed Fabinho for so long who didn’t do any of those basics, ever

‘Sniffs out danger’ it’s called reading the game & good positioning & anticipation bring pro active rather than reactive
