Thread: Match Thread : Man Utd v Liverpool

TBF Utd have looked dangerous on the break, I know they have had no shots, but it only takes one…or two to be on target and the get gets horrid.

Our confidence and composure in front of goal is absolutely non-existent, what I would give for a fit Jota right now…even the four on target that we have had, 2 of them were basically so weak they were effectively back passes.

15 shots and only 2 of them of any use, is just embarrassing….

Fingers crossed we fucking wake up in front of goal and defend for our lives giving them absolutely nothing …

Come on Redmen. Any win will do.
We play before Arsenal next Sunday so could aim for a 5 point gap prior to their kick off.

Mo Salah scored more goals but always felt like Mane scored more opening goals. So Mane was more the clutch finisher between the two. It is evident now with Jota out who is also a clutch finisher that with Diaz and Nunez and Gakpo the expectation is that Salah will be the decisive one. He will end up one of the greatest players of all times but he spurns a lot of chances. Hang me if you want.

It is a miracle what Klopp has achieved with this group. So many raw players, Szoboslai was good when he came but is very inconsistent and careless with the ball. Gravenberch I don't know. Diaz, Nunez, Gakpo all to varying degrees not finished articles. Only MacAllister I can feel is an upgrade. Hendo and Fab were old I'm comparing to their younger selfs with Gini. I can not say Endo, Szoboslai and Grav as yet are upgrades to the 2018-2022 team.

Endo lovely little player but not a world beater, it us working fir now cause Klopp.

Robbo. Can't effect a cutback cross or do anything in and around the box. A chip into space floated cross where the attacker makes the goal is all that he can do. But ask him to heat the first defender whilst running near the edge or byline. Hits the defender 110% of the time.c

When I see the quality in terms of consistency not moments of magic, some of our players give top 6 level type. What we are achieving is all on Klopp and then I would add Van Dijk as some garnish as he has been probably player of the season. I am not criticizing our players I am actually in awe of what Klopp is actually achieving here.

Is that why we're 1st in the league and finished where did last season?

    So calm from Quansah.

Do think Gomez for Bradley should happen at some stage to prevent that second yellow.

Come on Reds, you have this game. It's there to be won.

And Nunez blows another great chance by smashing it when composure was required
