Arsenal are not dropping any more points.

They've never been this close to winning the title since Wenger left, and (unlike us) they're not bottling it this time.

That goal difference advantage they have should be enough to see them through even if we match them for wins.

Fucking wastefulness in front of goal - not just in this game - has done our season in.

That's the truth though isn't it. We are not as good as our position suggests. No one had us down for a title challenge this year and yet here we are. Still 7 games to go. Do I expect us to win the league, nó, because I don't think our squad is good enough.
But do we have a chance, yes. It's gonna be a nervy few weeks but at least we are joint top instead of fighting for 4th place like last year.

This is where Klopp now needs to show ruthlessness. Diaz is now the form attacker. Then Nunez or Salah should lose their place and overall in terms of what each has given this season, it is Salah. The other game he had 12 shots because he couldn't pass to a team mate. Today when the pressure was on he couldn't be selfish enough and passed. He also missed a gilt edged chance. He can come of the bench and win back his spot. It also sends a message to the other attackers that you are as important. Enjoy your game and not ne the first to look over your shoulder cause Jota is back.

    Perspective. Well played.

People are rightfully gutted not to win, but we have chalked off another game.

7 left. If we can win them, Man City are powerless. Different with Arsenal due to their goal difference, but if we won 7 and they won 6, we'd have done enough.

Europa a distraction in the week, then try to beat Crystal Palace at Anfield - one of very few chances remaining for fans to remind Jürgen how thankful they are.

Bigger, bigger picture - look at our opponents today. That draw has ensured that they almost certainly don't play Champion's League football next season, yet they're singing "Jürgen's cracking up" at the end - how far they have fallen is ridiculous.

Every League season is a battle, but the war for Football is forever and we are much better placed for next season than many sides.

Arsenal are going to end up winning on goal difference thanks to the Spurs game aren't they...

A dent yes but over, no.

They get only 2 shots on target (up until that point) and score on both of them.

Yet we can't make anything out of the 15 or so attempts prior (outside Diaz' goal).

    It still hurts.

More so, if a failure to win the title ends up having come down to this*.

(*yes, I know there were other factors this season, the Tottenham game, the Ordegaard handball non-penalty, the Doku karate kick non-penalty,....

But not winning it on account of the Manc twats and not being able to beat them hurts so much more than crap officiating calls denying us stone-cold wins and points)

We don't know that about Arsenal. City and us have Luton and Pakace at home before they face Villa next. They have never taken a race to the last day as some of our current squad did twice with City. Very determined display by them yesterday but they still have Spurs and Utd away. Their derby is as much of a lottery as our games with Utd and their record at Old Trafford is shite.
