Maybe we threw pts away or it could be the point that made the difference. Think we hype up the significance of games depending on when they are played. We could have won we didn't, we could have lost thrn but we didnt. We drew. United are shite over a season but there is only 1 team that can beat them 10/10 that is City.

When the dust settles and we don't listen to sky analyst who each week the favorite is depends on who I'd on top. The favorite we all know are City, they are the ones who have prove track record including last season that they can see it out. Our current group majority were not in those 2 chases with City so we are kind of inexperienced, but we have people who have won league titles.

I rather sleep tonight level on pts with Arsenal than level with City. I rather 1 pt ahead of City than 1 behind them we all know how that ends. Arsenal have not won the league until it is won. So tomorrow it will be it is in Arsenal hands and the next week in those hands etc.

Let us not bring this tension on ourselves. Even Klopp was hurting today and losing it, he must remind himself to enjoy it, or sub players who are not doing it and give someone different a chance to be his hero.

The world has not ended. Uniteds bragging rights are they potentially stopped us winning a quadruple. Our cry is we are 2nd on goal difference. Let's us enjoy our situation in context.

Spurs seem to be Pep's bogey team as he hasn't been able to beat them for something like three seasons running now.
I'd argue that Spurs are their biggest banana skin game left this season that could put the major dent in their title challenge.

Ironically, after that first game we had with them and the utter robbery by officials it was in denying us at least a draw, if not the win at their stadium earlier in the season, our season could come down to Spurs doing their usual muck-up job with City and doing some derby damage to Arsenal in their North London derby.

But we also have to play them ourselves around the same time, and they're still fighting for that 4th place CL spot.

Alot of poor performances today, being caught in possession and misplaced passes being the worst offenses. But my god Robbo has fallen off a cliff, his crosses and corners are almost all terrible. It will be interesting which players a new set of eyes watching them as coach will survive and have starting places next year. Things are going to change quite a lot soon.

My sentiment as well. This is a beautiful plant surprise. So I am enjoying it for what it is. If they pull it off in my view one of the greatest achievements. These players just don't look world beaters but they don't lose games. So individually and collectively they have strong mentality. And Jurgen and his team of course. But I think psychologically many of those individuals just look like calm individuals. Don't know but maybe Liverpool have a strong psychological team. Look how Quansah didn't go to pieces after that mistake.

Im trying to enjoy it. But the nerves and hope are killing me. I was more hopeful than expectant today. We simple kisses too many chances and you knew what was gonna happen.

I was one of the few insisting that if the Saudi clubs came to us with a decent deal for him (anything aboe 100 mill), that we should take it and try to invest on a new deadl(ier) striker for the future, but most on here and elsewhere were insistent we'd be lost without him in the team.

I'd argue we've lost more in terms of points from missed chances and goals at his feet this second half of the season since his return from the AFCON and injury than we've lost from any of the other front players.

There shouldn't be any question if any club comes for him in this summer transfer with a decent enough bid.

We've already had the best of him, and it's clear his form is now on a downward trajectory and he's going to be less effective as seasons go by as he loses pace and fitness each coming year.

Best to cash in now and find a replacement to invest in.

I feel bad for Quansah.

That (admittedly BIG glaring) error aside, he was actually pretty solid at the back today partnering Virgil, and even had some stand-up moments stopping some attacks down the right flank when Bradley had been beaten.

But all anyone is going to remember is him giving that pass away to lead to Fernandes goal.

You've even seen it on this board will people acting like that's all he contributed to the game while ignoring the hatful of other times he stopped attacks at the back.
Our failure to win this game is more on the ineptidude and ineffectiveness of our front three than it is on that one defensive error.

The kid's solid and a great investment for our future and I hope, regardless of how the season plays out, he doesn't let this be what defines him or have it negatively impact his development going forward.

Think 99.9999999% of supporters have already forgotten about Quansah. Sports are played by humans who make mistakes. I noted that he does have it in him to make that type of giveaway so the gravitas of the mistake will be more an improvement to his game. Cause he shook it off beautifully so that impressed me he has a strong head.

We don't walk away with 3 pts. Because of attack/finishing. Mo Salah, then Nunez. Then Szoboslai. But for me Salah mostly.
