Just don’t get the need to announce leaving half way through the season. What difference would it have made to keep it private until the end of the season.
The talk was that someone knew, so the club had to announce it before it was leaked.

We were actually (largely) alright despite the distraction - Man United game onwards we have crumbled.

    HAHA!
    Jokes on them.

We lost it at Old Trafford weeks ago.

Nobody was saying that a month ago. It's pure hindsight.

look it’s sad - He must have decided to leave before the season started. I would ask why but deep down the fight he has - with the backing he hasn’t had - That’s too much and he simply couldn’t do it any more.

The announcement was always going to kill us though. Klopp - even with his crazy positivity MUST have known that deep down.

apart of why imo he checked out a while back. Players have too

I think the City game was where it ended. We had to win that game. All in all it was always going to be a huge ask. We've fell short of two teams that are simply better. No shame in it. Not one of us expected to be involved.

They were never going to be able to keep it quiet - especially once the club had to start doing due diligence and talking to prospective replacements as they are doing now.

As soon as they asked another club for permission to talk to their manager it would get out.

I don't know what people here are thinking.

They really think this was going to be a secret until the end of the season?
