Still. If they score in their final League game they'll have accrued 90 (or more) League goals in a season and if they keep a clean sheet then they'll have only conceded one more League goal than Rafa's 08/09 side.
They're building something. They're unfortunate (as we have been) that Man City exist in their current guise.
I've said on a previous thread, if Arsenal win the title they will be 'worthy' champions. They've only dropped 4pts since the turn of the year.
However their injury record is what has kept them in it right until the end.
If they had -
- Missed their goalkeeper for 3 months
- Simultaneously Missed both fullbacks for 3 months
- Had to put out a different centre half pairing every other week
- Had to play some kids in midfield for a stretch
- Missed their main goal outlet for a few months
I think they would be far lower than they are now...
