Clear patterns of play & instruction

It helps some players Jurgrn tells them to go and play, but many others need more structure & set plays in open play as a base

We didn’t get chance to do enough work with enough of the same players to get a lot of that instilled, hence why we ended up a bit of a rabble, with no recognisable patterns of play

Nunez has performed far better than a lot of forwards this season, in a system with precious little in the way of automation & triggers for movement

All forwards miss lots of chances, it’s just a bash Liverpool’s No9 media frenzy campaign so no-one’s looking at Rashford Hojlund Anthony & a host of others nowhere near his numbers

Darwin has something like 33 goals and 16 assists for Liverpool in his 2 seasons here - this would need double-checking but if that figure is wrong it isn't by much - and that would be in 95 (?) or so appearances.

So 49(?) goals/assists in 95(?) appearances - give or take - plus we create more chances when he plays - but the cry in many quarters is to sell.

I definitely want to see what a new Manager can do with him because a goal or assist every other game is decent going when you have more years to develop.

He'll always frustrate and there will be high-profile misses and trainers thrown at television sets, but there will be goal-scoring contributions too, plus a brilliant work ethic. We certainly aren't getting a load of cash for him with the media narrative and the data analytics lads at the club will (I suspect) be able to see what he brings to the table as being "worth it" but we will see what happens.

All forwards miss big chances, seen Watkins Isaak Haaland Son & others miss huge chances at least 2 each a game in these last 2 weeks

A lot of how they rate & define something as a big chance created or missed they just make up as they go along, especially if there’s a player they want to ‘go after’ or use to divert attention from other players more ppl should be talking about

Look at the ‘big chance’ he supposedly missed by the filthy, when you see another angle at the point the ball is there to be struck the defender & keeper combine to block any finish - It’s not even a big chance for me if when it comes to him to be able to hit it, the goal’s well blocked, that’s why he puts it back across

I look at big chances created stats & then see the numerous big chances created by Hendo on his 19-20 reel Mane Mo & Bobby miss & the amount they say he created doesn’t nearly match the amount he did

These sort of stats are often used to push a positive or negative agenda & manipulated for those purposes

Maybe they fear Nunez like they did Suarez & think if someone gets him to put it all together he’s going to be lethal and ours

Nunez has been shocking since the new year. There's no sugar coating his performances.

He’s got 10 goals & 4 assists since New Year

Díaz has 6 goals & 4 assists since New Year

Mo has 7 goals & 2 assists since New Year 2 or 3 of those goals pens I think

Gakpo has 8 goals & 5 assists since New Year

So we’ve been benching our best performing forward since new year & our second best

These statto wankers are full of shite, it’s an obvious targeted campaign I’ve seen Díaz miss more absolutely gilt edged chances than any other of our players

What’s that supposed to be ^^^^^

Just list the goals & assists all comps each have contributed since the New Year after which you claimed Nunez had been an absolute disaster when in actual fact, he’s been our best forward for goals & assists combined in that period despite not playing or coming on very late in a few recent games

Nunez hasn't scored against anyone notable since Newcastle in August . Were as both Diaz and especially Mo scores in the big games.
If Nunez is to make it with us he has to step it up in the biggest games.
