I disagree, I think as a Liverpool fan and his dad a big Liverpool fan he would have signed had we actually made an offer early in the transfer window.

The Caicedo bid was desperation late into the transfer window probably knowing he’d already given his word to Chelsea.

Not sure if the reports are true but Chelsea aren’t close to breaching FFP now so they won’t need to sell anyone.

I find it hard to believe that Bellingham would have chosen Liverpool over Real Madrid

I doubt it too, the minute he heard Real were in for him, that was it.
Also, I don’t recall him ever saying he was a Liverpool fan, his Dad yes but not him. Mbappe’s Mum is a Liverpool fan but he himself has said “God knows why.” Just because a parent supports a team doesn’t mean his or her son will.
