They don't have much leeway when it comes to finances. Calvert Lewin was decent a 2/3 seasons back. But injury as done for him. Just seems the kinda deal both parties will thrash out
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century

Just seen quite Lolzy tweet in response to Everton backing City.
"Everton like that guy on Instagram retweeting billionaire mindset posts whilst working a 9-5"

Andy Robertson had to pull out of training today. 'Just a precaution'.
International managers don't give a shit about the longer term effects on player fitness. Most of them have poorer quality training regimes than our elite players are used to.
How many times have Robbo and Joe Gomez come back from international duty crocked?

If this happens I think I might be done. Rugby is apparently fun to watch sometimes.

Yet you were ok to carry on with 777 partners getting the gig.

Why would this consortium be more of an issue? Is it because you feel the BS would be more likely to challenge us?

Challenge us? We've played within the rules and won one league title in 30 years. I don't think we're the ones they'd be challenging.

My issue is fairness. To my mind, clubs being able to spend only what they legitimately generate is the closest thing to fairness and genuine competition that we're likely to get in football. 777 partners wouldn't have spent one penny of their own money, just like most football club owners. Their organisation doesn't include individuals who are family members within an absolute monarchy with unlimited funds.

I see the game moving swiftly away from fairness and genuine competition (or as close as was possible) and watching trillionaires taking turns to buy trophies won't be entertaining to me.

    League or Union?
Agree, I'm getting mega pissed off with the cheating going on.
Saudi and US sounds like another nail in the coffin of English football.
It's going to be called soccer before we know it.
    Fuck for that.

The Saudis and the UAE are ONLY here and operating with impunity BECAUSE of the UK's total reliance on the petrodollar and the control the US has over it. It really is so simple but until you folks hear it on the telly - you simply won't entertain the prospect nevermind face the reality.

Come on people. You can't ALL be that dim witted to see it or that scared to admit it. Surely. Ok we see what happens to people like Snowden & Assange when they expose it but this is surely low enough level to be safely mentioned...?

I don't need you to educate me on geoeconomics. It's entirely out of my control.

I am just giving my opinion on whether my personal enjoyment of the game would reduce to such a level that I would give up on watching it. Nothing more.
