Say it every year ahead of the fixtures coming out but I hate playing promoted teams early doors as they are in that full effort / nothing to lose state and can catch us cold - would genuinely rather play a Champion's League side as the first game.

Ah well, still have to play everyone twice. Getting the Old Trafford trip out of the way early may not be a bad thing.

Good to get the away fixture to our bogey team out of the way early doors.

Tough December and end to the season, but other than that looks like a decent opportunity to start well and build up a bit of momentum.

You gotta fucking laugh the first match of Slots LFC career is a 12:30 kick away..they can never quit their agenda against us NEVER. i watched an interview where that oaf Simon Jordan was asking someone from the PL why Liverpool get so many early kick offs and like a good spokesperson (irony) he answered everything but that question posed. so that moron would make a good politician. Theres no way would it have been a 12:30 kick of at Anfield. Don't wanna make it easy for us.
