Manchester United are in talks with Joshua Zirkzee’s representatives after making it clear they are prepared to meet the Bologna forward’s £33.8m (€40m) release clause.

Making early moves, apparently in talks for Yoro too.

Meanwhile FSG is trying to see how many youth/fringe players we can sell @ 20m each to raise funds for Bendo from China.

teams are catching upto us, whilst we drift away from arsenal and city, it's impossible with FSG it was a miracle in the first place thanks to klopp, not confident we'll make top4 this s eason, if we do we won't next season.

The amount of money United have spent in the last decade they should have been challenging City. They havn't mustered a single title challenge in 10 years.

Let's hope we change our transfer policy and start throwing obscene money at 'over the hill' midfielders or a few bad tempered Portuguesers...

Our ability to find diamonds in the rough wont last forever, it can't. It's not a sustainable way of staying at the top. And things do and will change but I know i'd rather see us find a little Japanese warrior like Endo than pay £70m for a 31 year old Casimiro.

Correct - if we include this season. But that’s still 2x in the last 4. Doesn’t feel right or fair to omit that so called “title defence” when we were supposedly at our zenith.

Would be nice to get guehi for example, but we wont spend the money, eze too we can't keep counting on miracle transfers, or finding "diamonds" we take a chance on and noone knows about them, even they it takes years for them to get upto speed, by then we're weak somewhere else.
