I had actually wondered what their goal difference was historically as a national team, bearing in mind results like the 11-1 loss to Macedonia (North Macedonia now) in 1998 and apparently it's -570.

Yea but they have been very very unlucky Sid. For instance in the 11:1 loss to North Macedonia a rogue seagull flew over the stadium and clipped the ball out for a throw early in the second half.

Anything could have happened. 😜

Sorry to disagree on a penalty again Steveo but the defender put his leg right across Jota and brought him down.
Good positive run from him.

Awful penalty by a way past his sell by date Ronaldo, followed by floods of tears from the big fruit bat, with still 15 minutes of extra time to go

I don’t see what the defender can do there. Jota was not in control of the ball at that point and was running for contact for me. There was contact but for me induced

I mean you may well be right miller, but on first viewing to me it felt like a run into traffic to collide and fall. Soft is probably the best description but need to see it again

Whatever happens now, to take Portugal to 120 minutes without conceding a goal is huge for little Slovenia.
