Sadly the fact has to be faced - English players and managers are not at the top level. Bellingham is blood and thunder - and the best Engerlander by a mile and yet he was totally invisible - again.

It’s different when you are surrounded by world class players at Madrid - But IF you’re World class - you show it. Work to do still and second season at Real could go either way.
Fully agree. He's got much to prove and the constant bigging him up isn't doing him any favours, has the team in his shoulders at 20 years old. It's typical Englesi.
England in big games very much remind me of LFC in the Real finals. Just lacking that quality and can't control things to decide their own destiny.

Pundits still claiming England have the best squad.

    Still

Despite the history that repeats over and over and over.

Not a single English manager to win the Premier league speaks volumes about our lack of understanding of this sport in modern times on this island - where the very sport was conceived.

England have been poor all tournament. I was amazed they got to the final.

The players aren’t as good as they think they are. Surrounded by class tacticians at club level and they start to believe their own hype.

Spain were by far the best team today and the whole tournament so no one can deny they weren’t worthy winners.

Good to see the best team win. Plus seeing T-rex crying after the final whistle is the highlight of the tournament 🤣🤣

    Two consecutive finals.
    Two consecutive defeats.
If they are capable of reaching finals, they should be capable of winning.
    Is it the coach?

Play your players in the right position (Rio says)

    LISTEN up

They are not technically good enough. When the ball is pinged at you with pace - your ball control and ability to move into space and play the right accurate short pass is exposed.

Spain do it for fun Engerland players cannot do it. The golden generation couldn’t - this lot can’t.

The easiest of easy draws - massive help from officials - and Still - one game v quality and it’s over.

Under Southgate England lost a home European Championship final they should comfortably have won to a poor Italy side playing a good 433 pressing & counter pressing attacking game none of played for their clubs not playing one himself when all his best players played that way at their clubs
