I have advocated for the acquisition of a centre-back, a defensive mid and a right-sided forward on more than one occasion in recent weeks on this forum - try again.

I understand that my defence of (much of, not all) our over-arching policy towards transfers is not to your taste, but you don't half jump to conclusions or pounce on stuff to suit your agenda without reading properly.

You understand for example that I said EMERGENCY options of Endo and Bajcetic and am not remotely advocating that we use them there on any kind of regular basis? Sue me for having faith in them if they are needed for 3-5 games a season in an unorthodox position - even Ferguson's big-spending Man United side had the John O'Shea types in the squad that could "do a job" once in a while - it's fine.

Finishing 9th in a couple of seasons indeed.......have you NO faith in the squad that has brought us so much entertainment over the last few years? We would need to ROYALLY mess up over the next couple of seasons for that to happen and whilst anything is possible in football, it's an incredibly negative outlook given the squad Klopp left us with - even for you.

salah and vvd ain't around forever we should make the most of them and actuallly spent some fucking money to try get close in the league or champs league again but oh nooooooooooo!!!! we're hoping endo covers at CB lord be praised or bajectic who's more rusty than my dead nan and a kid who's not exactly strong, endo got brushed off the ball 500 times too

Only because we needed a long over-due redo of the midfield!

There's no reason we can't get a attacker/cb/midfielder..... we've even got some fringe players we can sell to raise a bit of money..

but lets see what happens....... hopefully we'll get some quality in..... otherwise guess what we'll go backwards not rocket science

fact of the matter is 2 of our best players are getting old and on the decline, trent has a year left on his contract and heard fuck all, nunez can't score from 6 yrds & konate ain't the best and nowhere near the level of VVD and noone wants to see gomez at CB konate is a starter but we still need a top CB soon.

diaz want's to go to barca and he's welcome, on the grapevine anyway because his end-product is as good as Walcott

Three things Kev -

First - when fans talk about other fans being bed-wetters, they're talking precisely about the sort of hyperbolic, panic-stricken language used above.

Second, having already made it clear on Endo and Bajcetic as EMERGENCY options (aka I and everyone else hope it never happens, but 3-5 games a season would be "fine") you're framing it as "we're hoping Endo covers at CB" knowing full-well it implies doing so on a regular basis and this method of attempting to discredit what I've said via massive misrepresentation is a little sad.

Thirdly, Bajcetic is a quality player who merits our support. Let's do just that, eh? Sky's the limit for him.
