Have any of the owners turned up to these games? How do people watch these games in the UK? - is it lfc.tv or some other streams?

However... what these results have done is (as somebody earlier said) is stop any unnecessary pressure building on the team and new manager. Three defeats would have had the prophets of doom lining up before that kick off in Ipswich.

Full squad should be back together Tuesday and now Slot has to get the rest of them up to speed. Onwards, Reds....
I seem to remember having an excellent pre-season in Rodgers' first season. Then promptly getting hammered 3-0 v WBA in the opening game of the season...

Woke this morning after staying up to watch it and felt I'd had 10 pints last night. I'm getting too old for late nights !!
As for the game Both keepers were impressive and always good to beat that lot especially for the American fans who were at the game.

Agreed, Pre-season results are somewhat irrelevant in terms of an indication how any team will fare in the Premiership, however winning creates a feel good factor especially in the fledgling moments of a new Managers tenure, so in that regards Slot has to be delighted.

He has experimented with lots of young players in lots of formations and has managed to try and implement a slightly tweaked style of play, with varying degrees of success. Some players have shone and some have struggled, hopefully this has allowed Slot a good insight into what he has inherited behind the starting 11.

Fingers crossed when the big boys return they are all able to raise the bar in terms of quality witnessed so far and if they manage to do that, I think Slott might have a real opportunity to hit the ground running, only time will tell…. if in addition to that we are able to freshen up the squad with some top quality new signings in key positions… we should be able to compete as well as we did last year…

Kelleher easily the best keeper on show last night. I cannot fathom why no one has come in with a serious offer for him.

Might seem easy to get to a game in your own country - ok ok - even if you have a private jet - WHEN you have 19 bathrooms to clean. It's a problem
