I love Liverpool and unlike you am deeply connected to the place...but I know what it is and what it isn't - unlike some.

Now go and argue with yourself in the corner of whatever “sordid little grief hole” you call home 😜
    OK, Groomeo 👍

Le Lol. No offending me over that place mate. I know what it is and it's my home but it's a genuinely huge regret I never got out when I was young. There's literally nothing here. Atleast Durham and Newcastle aren't far. They're great places.

NO chance you sell the likes of Brewster Ibe or Solanke for what we did WITH a sell on clause unless he is leaving a club managed by Jurgen. I know we have a raft of forumites who believe that Edwards was the hero and all the data analytics was the key.. OK But again for me no chance we get close to Ł142,000,000 for Coutinho unless he is playing like a worldie for Jurgen Klopp.

Now we need to attract players and frankly - we don't have a strong hand.. not yet at least
He'll certainly be a big miss as a draw for bringing players in. How can a character like that not be missed.

I'm not sure you can accredit him with the sales of players, other than getting the team to play well. Good players playing well will always attract the interest of other clubs.

I'm literally in the same boat in Darlo. I did happen upon the South Coast for a while, but for reasons I haven't quite worked out ended up back in the town.

Stumbled upon this, this morning. Thought it was quite interesting.

Certainly doesn't paint Rodgers in a good light.

But I think it shows that the boys in the background doing a decent job.

However you still need a top manager to put it all together.

They will but look at what Suarez went for - no player has EVER had a better season in the history of this club. Then look at what Coutinho went for.. "Good players playing well" Ok - Ibe, Brewster & Solanke. - remember how they played now imagine selling them in 2015..

I'm very negative on the Zumbimendi deal. I don't know why (maybe past experience) but I get the feeling this is like the caicedo deal. We tried and we tried but the player said no. Too late to do anything else, let's get arthur back in loan for midfield.

Ahead of the launch of his new book, 'How to Win the Premier League: The Inside Story of Football’s Data Revolution

    Dr Ian Graham

    So - a balanced insight then .

He'll be telling us Starmer isn't behind the riots and isn't rubbing his hands at the chance to introduce new lockdown measurers next..

His book is out on August 15th..

To be fair, he does go on to explain that the title is very tongue in cheek.
