Bit of chatter that RB Leipzig have agreed a deal with us (permanent) for Bobby Clark - probably be a reputable source post about it within minutes if it's true.

Pieces of transfer business are best looked at in isolation. Whilst that particular move isn't the highest priority and certainly wouldn't "save" what has been a poor window thus far whatsoever, it would still be absolutely excellent bit of work if we do pull that one off.
Any top side that has a plan of getting a keeper to replace someone on their books would be very wise to be looking at him and I certainly won't be getting excited about it until we see him in a promo shot signing a contract. He has every chance of being one of the World's best keepers in a couple of years.
We aren't the only club who would be wise to future-proof the GK position a bit. Ter Stegen at Barca must be 31 or so by now (hardly decrepit, but you plan ahead) and lads like Neuer or Courtois (spelling?) will need replaced eventually.
It's exactly the type of proactive methodology we should have been employing for the 6 position, where we have thus far failed.
Also, if he does come, clickbait journos who love to increase their profile via retweets and shares from anxious Reds will have an absolute field day with Kvaratskhelia rumours given that he is Georgian and Salah's contract is running down.
So dull!
Lynch said that about Air Nouri quite a few weeks back.
I think i and others said.. its all about penny pinching. Edwards was brought back to keep hold of the cash...He tells Hughes theres so much for a player and he goes skirting across Europe and other continents looking for bargain basement deals.
while selling players that are on the fringes. I was disappointed in letting Bobby Clark go. I know he probably won't get close to the team this season. But i think theres a player in there..
