Two men from Surrey have been charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse against children.
Stephen Ireland, 40, and David Sutton, 26, both from Addlestone, were arrested on Wednesday.
The BBC understands Mr Ireland was the director of Surrey Pride, and Mr Sutton a volunteer with the organisation, until June.
Both have been remanded in custody and will appear before magistrates in Staines on Thursday.
Mr Ireland and Mr Sutton face a series of charges including six counts of conspiracy to sexually assault a child, conspiracy to kidnap a child, voyeurism and arranging the commission of a child sex offence.
In addition, Mr Ireland is facing a further 22 charges, including rape of a child under 13, sexual assault, making indecent photographs of children, and possession of an extreme pornographic image.
Mr Sutton is also charged with a further seven offences, including making indecent photographs of children and distributing indecent photographs of a child.
All the offences were alleged to have happened between August 2022 and last month. Surrey Police says its investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Surrey Police.

This interest group might be a reason why WiteChildrenMatter - a subset of All Children Matter - has not been adopted to date)

Tell me you are having a breakdown without telling me you are having a breakdown
Part of the problem with physical health can be laid at the doors of the food industry.
We have so much crap in our food these days, including colourings, additives, and preservatives. Not forgetting the processed sugar which is in so many foods.
On top of that we also need to consider the plastic packaging which is being used on almost every type of food that we bring in to our homes.
My family are doing our utmost to avoid processed and ultra-processed foods, unfortunately damage has already been done because we didn't look into this in our earlier years.
The food industry needs a sodding kick up the arse.
Food is a the lower end of the spectrum when we are talking about children being murdered, whilst still significant.
The whole evolution of the family and the artist formerly known as living, is largely worse than the food issue, though it obviously pays a part.

One might question the rigour of the states probation services whilst releasing a machete killer after a few months from it's prison.Title: Agony for mother of teen killed in machete attack after learning one of his killers will be released after just SIX MONTHS due to prison overcrowding under new Labour scheme
After a trial at Newcastle Crown Court Carlos Neto, 18, and Lawson Natty, also 18, were convicted of manslaughter and unlawful wounding.
Neto, from Manchester, was jailed for nine years and two months, while Natty, from Newcastle, was handed two years and eight months at their sentence hearings in March........
Ms Barrett said: 'We are absolutely devastated. They rang me on Friday and said he was getting out because of the overcrowding and then they put it in writing to me.
'Fair enough letting petty criminals out for shoplifting but he has been done for manslaughter and he has only done a few months.
'I just cannot get my head around it. This is the same week those girls were murdered in Southport and he is getting out. What kind of example is that?'
She added: 'We have had not justice whatsoever for Gordon.'
The trial heard that a second youth, who couldn't be named, was slashed during the same violent confrontation but survived.......
The letter said: 'Due to significant issues within the prison population, the Lord Chancellor has announced plans to introduce a change to the law which will allow some prisoners serving determined sentence to be released on license early.
'Prisoners who meet the criteria will be released after serving 40 per cent of their sentence in custody rather than the 50 per cent they serve now.
'These changes are due to happen from September so no prisoner will be released under the scheme prior to that time.
'We have been advised that Lawson Natty meets the criteria for this scheme so I'm writing to inform you that the release will be brought forward.
'The revised release date will be in the week beginning September 9, 2024.'
The letter said Natty will be managed by the Probation Service and subject to licence conditions.
He will be required to comply with all conditions and failure to do so could result in him being sent back to prison.
The full article is worth a read as there's a bit exempted, in what I quoted. Not much more text, mainly.

Nobody is reading this nonsense.

VOTE JOCKY tae fix this fiasco.
It is a call on the club & pl to adopt WhiteChildrenMatter, a subset of All Children Matter for the 24/25 season. It belongs in the Football forum as it pertains to LFC & Football.
Do you think the club and the PL are reading this dross?
It should be in the bin first but Off Topic isn't much different.
VOTE JOCKY tae fix this fiasco.
I should hope so. It is a crisis.
https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/north-east-news/newcastle-dwp-worker-caught-indecent-29737392A government worker has been spared jail after being caught with indecent images of children.
17 AUG 2024
Police went to the then-home of Aimen Touati in Houghton-le-Spring in April last year after receiving intelligence that a user of a social media group linked to Touati's email address had uploaded an indecent image of a child online.
His mobile phone was found to contain indecent images of children. There were 63 of the most serious, category A images and one category A video, 83 categeory B images and one video and 93 category C images and one video.
Newcastle Crown Court heard the children ranged in age from six months to 15 years. There were a further 62,034 images and 561 videos which were not categorised due to "proportionality" in the use of police time.
Touati told police he was depressed and had got addicted to watching pornography. He had then joined a group which was sharing illegal material. He said he knew it was wrong but he was "nevertheless curious", the court heard.
Touati, 41, of Clifton Road, Newcastle, admitted three counts of making indecent images of children and was sentenced to 12 months suspended for two years with 200 hours unpaid work. He must also sign the sex offenders register and be subject to a sexual harm prevention order for ten years.
Recorder David Gordon told him: "Sometimes it's said offending of this sort is offending without a victim. That is completely untrue.
"All of the children in each one of those images and movies is very likely to have experience very significant physical, psychological and sexual harm as a result of their experiences, as well as suffering the impact of the sexual abuse when the images were made.
"The impact of the abuse is likely to be serious and lifelong."
Sophie Johnstone, defending, said: "This is deeply unsavoury offending and this is a man who is acutely aware of that. He is remorseful and has expressed to me he truly is sorry."
Miss Johnstone said his mental health had declined in 2019 and he developed a "severe problem" with pornography the joined a WhatsApp group which led to him being sent illegal material.
The court heard he works for the DWP as a "decision-maker" in an office-based role. Miss Johnsone said he has not told his employer about his conviction yet but plans to.
She added: "He is steeped in self-blame and knows he can't take it back. All he can do is seek to rectify his conduct going forward."
62,034 images and 561 videos = 200 hours unpaid work.
1 hour unpaid work per 310 images & 2.8 videos of category A to C pedo-files of children aged 6 months to 15 years old.
