Our fans are a strange bunch, aren't they. If we had put in a performance like that the sky would be falling in and the F$G Out mob would be deafening.

Utd do it and it's a case of they're still dangerous and will likely finish top 4.

The probably will be "better". They finished 8th last season after all. It's unlikely they'll be any worse than that.

They've bought very well by the looks of it, so you'd expect them to be much better. It all depends on whether ten hag can get them playing the right way though, or whether he even lasts the season. We absolutely have to beat them on Sunday to get the pressure cranking up on them.

Yep, it's difficult to know. Harry Maguire was shocking against Brighton and got subbed off. Do they stick with him?

Here are the teams that finished above them last season:

    City
    Arsenal
    Liverpool
    Villa
    Spurs
    Chelsea
    Newcastle

Villa may well drop off having to manage European football. Not sure how good Spurs will be over the season. At best, you'd expect them to be competing with Chelsea and Newcastle for a top 4 place.

Bought very well? Two defenders who are Bayern cast offs, one which Eric Dier was starting over and they've bought a midfielder who PSG have took a loss on after only one season.
All that and they still have EtH as manager. I might be wrong but I'm not exactly worried.

6th and a deep domestic Cup run for them for me.

I don't see them back in the Top Four this season personally - but we'll see.

Aw - there's that obsession again

Plenty of who you would label the 'F$G out' mob have been posting as often or more often than usual in the wake of a 2:0 victory to Brentford. You've really found a knack of being wrong time and time again. The results we achieve should be independent of any vitriol for the owners. As mentioned we did amazingly well in 2009 but some behind the scenes were already calling out H&G. Thank the good lord they did too. The team might be on fire and the manager working his magic while the owner is pocketing the cash. Would fans be dutiful in staying silent in such circumstances? No. In F$G's case -thankfully - it isn't that bad, BUT they need to be put under pressure.

You seem totally obsessed with fans who are not happy with our Billionaire owners. So much more obsessed than you are with the actual football club itself.

Also weren't you asking for mods to intervene and move move this type of discussion into the FSG OUT thread...?

    What a fraud.

It would be strange unless we didn't know you are a shill.

Everything doesn't have to be black and white Victor and I'm not obsessed with anyone. Especially not you lot. I was simply responding to a post about how crap Utd were.

It's interesting that you say results should be independent from the owners. I agree but you might want to go back and read your own posts. You seem obsessed with the fact that they are billionaires. So what if they are? I can't change that and no amount of moaning on this forum will change it. Why do you care so much? Did JH nick your pocket money or something?

You're tiresome. FSG have been here 14 years. That's a long time to be miserable Victor. If we won the league 10 times in a row, you'd tell us that if only F$G had put in more money it would have been 11. You'll never be happy and I've no idea why you continue to follow football at all.

Poor thing - it's you who seems miserable.

Only one relentless voice moaning about posters who are unhappy with the owners. Who tries to control what people can and can't say. Just the one voice trying to direct posters to ONLY speak on the topic in the F$G Out thread - yet who then repeatedly does precisely what he asks others not to do.

You're clearly not very bright whatever you are - ai or some form of humanistic disaster.

There is little more tiresome than a shill.
