Man City will 'at best' get nothing more than a gentle slap on the wrist. Why? Because big money is involved, namely that which comes into the UK via it's business links to the UAE.

A high ranking member of the Government (possibly as high ranking as it gets) had words with those running the PL to make sure the Saudi takeover of Newcastle United was allowed to take place. Similar things are now taking place in regards to the charges brought against Man City.

The Government has admitted that its embassy in Abu Dhabi and the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) in London have discussed the charges levelled at Manchester City by the Premier League, but they are refusing to disclose the correspondence because it could risk the UK’s relationship with the UAE.

    I'm Shocked.. No honestly.

No prizes for knowing why the collective US owners are silent on the issue?

Think it would be fascinating if the media could publicise the legal costs, daily - particularly the jizzers.
This would show the sporting world the degree of corruption that's involved in "our national game".

But it’s literally nothing mate. Relative to the hundreds of billions being stolen for the arms industry to perpetuate war.

This is all a distraction. Like the sport itself.

I agree this will be dragged out for as long as possible, beyond this season, but if they are found guilty of cheating then they should be stripped of the trophies they won by cheating - otherwise they would still have bought the trophies, just with a belated added tax.

When you read the BBC article the wrap sheet is huge. No chance they're getting off with them all, it's just what the actual punishment will be that's going to be interesting.
