Teams play emotional mind games with us.. play act. time waste and so on.. this should be enough to get us irate. and mean business. really fuck off Forest when we play them away. and Palace will play the same like last time. ultra defensive.. just fucking go at em.. and make them hurt..

Dreadful from start to finish. Nobody other than Grav comes out with any credit today. Dreadful.

Hopefully just a bad day at the office. Don't think Grav did much to be honest. None of the outfield were good. Won't happen much where literally all of them were off it.

I agree, but unlike Szoboslai, Salah has some credit in the bank. The others need to pick up the slack whenever he's not having a good game.

To be fair to Forest they actually played well second half after just playing rugby in the first.
They were deserving of the points.

We had performances like this under klopp as well. Poor performance unfortunatly. We rarely do well after international break. Slot should have changed the team taking the internationals into account.

Thought Alisson was good when he had to be, Virgil and Ibou were ok as was Robertson.
Gravenberch our motm, MacAllister shouldn’t have started, neither should Szoboszlai for different reasons.

Front 3 were terrible apart from Diaz for the first half hour.

Over all a 4 out of 10 performance

Needs to find a way mentally to get players up coming off an international break. We didn't even have the excuse of a 12:30pm kick off.
I have no idea if any or at what level teams shithouse in the Dutch league but he's really seen what some PL sides are capable of today. Just a messy cocktail of things going wrong this afternoon.
Not going to hit the panic button as I wasn't on the all is rosey button after the first 3 games.
Slight concern that a manager like Nuno has come up with a way to nullify us when Arne is still to face Guardiola ,Arteta and top ones in the CL
Nuno didn't do what any competent manager coming into Anfield ought to do if they know anything about football.

Which is, play it tight and compact, pack the middle, forcing us to try to go wide (which we didn't) rather than try to go through the middle or over the top.
And be disciplined throughout the game and hopefully bring on some impact subs in the 60th/70th minutes when we've gotten even more sloppy and careless out of desperation.

Although, to be fair that's how all his teams are set up to play even at home and it some of the reasons some Wolves fans were happy to see the back of him, and why he was run out of the Spuds.

Arne just played right into his hands - almost like out backroom staff have no access to video review equipment or tapes of their games.

I think him and his coaching staff's real initiation to the Premier league starts today.
Unlike in the Eredivisie, teams here will happily set up the low block and dare you to try to break it down and make it a grind for all 90 minutes. And teams that come to Anfield tend to do that a lot.

How he reponds to this - especially with lineup changes - will dictate how successful or not he'll be in this league.

Agree. He's been involved in pretty.uch every goal we've scored the previous three. If he doesn't play well somebody else needs to up their game a bit and lead the line. Jota has been quiet and today he was really poor.
Puzzling to take Diaz off when he is out only outlet aside from Salah. The subs were bizarre, just seemed to be hoping for the best rather than any design behind them.
