We seem to be 2-1 in midfield with Szobo being the 1 & Slot using him more forward in whichever area he thinks it will benefit us in each game

Yeah he played left and in the middle of that three behind Jota.

got a feeling slot doesn't rate endo but we'll see

must be hard for the player himself, knowing he'd probably be off if we actually got a no6

Just listened to the post game Anfield Wrap podcast. They make some good points regarding squad rotation.
They're saying you don't play Virgil and Mo every game if you want to get the best from them. This could be a game for some changes but I'd doubt we see many.
Macallister should sit out purely down to fatigue and potential injury I think. Gomez for Robbo at left back, Quansah is one who should maybe see some game time too.
It's become obvious already that the squad is thin imo.

TAW is as full of ill informed nonsense as it is insight. They talk and talk and say very little.

I don’t disagree with the points on rotation BTW but suggesting Forrest don’t suffer the same as we do with international absenteeism is beyond daft when they had 13 or more players away from what should be a far weaker squad.

23 man squad for the Milan game:

Alisson, Gomez, Endo, Van Dijk, Konate, Diaz, Szoboszlai, Nunez, Mac Allister, Salah, Chiesa, Jones, Gakpo, Jota, Tsimikas, Robertson, Gravenberch, Jaros, Kelleher, Alexander-Arnold, Quansah, Morton, Bradley....

Chiesa should be up for it.

Slot says he won’t start, would have had Harvey in his place … so one of Saturday’s starters will have to go again.
Probably Salah on the right then.

Yep shame about Harvey. Probably wise not to throw Chiesa straight in to start this one.
