When they reached the Europa Conference Final, five of their team were lads who had come through the Academy.
I'm pretty optimistic that he will be doing great stuff with bringing younger players through in good time, but will understandably want to be putting out a side that has the maximum chance of getting immediate results until such time as the fanbase (and his employers) fully trust that he is the man for the job.
