FSG have decided to tighten the purse stings in light of the recent court ruling that states shareholder loans must be included in PSR.

Liverpool FC currently owe FSG approximately £75m.

You can lend your business money from your personal or other account and your business can pay you it back in monthly installments with a high interest added on.
So basically you're making money from the loan.

That would be a very pleasant surprise.

Increasing the wages for lads who are over 30 doesn't really tie in with how we (typically) do things in the current set-up, but it would be great if we showed that flexibility where it is merited - and it certainly is (in my opinion) with lads like Van Dijk and Salah.

If the rumour is true, then contract length would be intriguing. I'd happily offer him 3 more years at an increased rate given how good he has been and how well he looks after himself, but 2 feels more realistic.

Hes vital but if that amount is true it's obscene, same as salahs last deal. Clubs can't meet PSR/FFP rules paying many of those salaries without raising ticket prices and charging ludicrous amounts for merchandise. Should the PL look at bringing in salary caps or total salaries as a % of income?? How soon before we are paying someone £20M a yr??
