Makes the Nunez signing all the more baffling. Completely different to Bobby in every way.

But players like Bobby don't grow on trees.

Wonder what Slot will do with him come the end of the season.

To be honest, I think a lot of players are on 'trial'. Slot will obviously have a better idea who fits and who doesn't by the end of the season.

I have read lots of column inches and watched lots of you tube vids commenting on the Arsenal game, some I agree with some not, which tbf is the norm.

The most controversial moment, namely the foul on Szobo, which ultimately denied Arsenal a winning goal, was I have to agree very soft, and if that had happened to us and denied us a victory, I would feel equally aggrieved. Saying that, I do think in that incident Havertz coearly used his arm to initially knock the ball over Kelleher and then barged Trent when he tried to clear the ball, so I imagine the disallowed goal, would have been denied by VAR anyway.

However, having said that, I have to say it really makes me laugh the level of anger towards this soft free kick… we all watch games every week, with free kicks being given for little or no contact by Referees who seem to believe that if a player cries like a girl and falls over clutching either his leg or face, he simply has to blow his whistle and award a foul, regardless of the fact if it was actually a foul in the first place. In fact I think the free kick Arsenal scored from, was an equally soft free kick… so it really is a case of swings and roundabouts.

Arsenal, I’m afraid were guilty of these Dark Arts from start to finish, I think in fact Gabriel’s injury was actually caused by himself when earlier in the game he dived to the floor to gain a foul when Nunez tried to close him down but didn't even make contact with him… so I am afraid if you want to play by the sword, you will ultimately die by the sword… so I have little or no sympathy with them..

Especially when last year Havertz’s blatant shithousery got Konate sent off at Arsenal, and they also conveniently forget the blatant Odegard handball at Anfield last season… also not forgetting Arteta’s fucking laughable comments about Referees, after the famous Diaz incident at Spurs last season.

    Hey ho..rant over

There wasn’t a disallowed goal on Sunday, the whistle went 10 seconds before the ball crossed the line. The disallowed goal is part of the Arsenal whinge narrative

Why it’s even being discussed is beyond me.

The referee blew long before the ball hit the net, the foul on Slobo was given but there would have been another given for handball and another for the barge on Trent.

Laughable that people are calling it a ‘disallowed goal’.

How we talk about the soft free kick they got for the Merino goal. Diaz hardly touched the Arsenal player and he threw himself to the ground. (Although our defending was shite considering they had exactly the same routine earlier where merino put it wide)

Part of the issue with VAR is there are literally millions of morons out there who don’t understand what it is to be fair & non prejudicial, who want to whine about decisions even though they know they weren’t wronged

Especially pathetic in this case as the whistle went long before the ball was in the net & Havertz handled it & then fouled Trent after the whistle

As per my post there is a difference between calling out a genuine bent or incorrect game changing decision & the ‘We was robbed’ when they weren’t crap the Arsenal City & filthy fans get up to
