Does anyone know what the story is behind that "Los Angeles you are too hot" banner is on the Kop?
It's a quote from a Morrissey song and there's a picture of a guy with a beard on it butI can't make out who it is.

Dunno - it’s a good question… think there have been other seemingly random Morrisey/Smiths lyric’s used for banners on the Kop.

Great win after an abysmal first half. Awoke the Kop and that positive change by Slot turned the game from almost into reality.

Superb comeback against a much better team than many realise

I really only get time to watch our own games and this is the first I've seen of Brighton under Hurzeler. They were very impressive and will certainly give City a tough match next weekend

Miles better in the 2nd half. As was the crowd.

A quick word on Joe Gomez - he was excellent when he came on. He's been playing at a high level for a while now.

The geezer is so under appreciated by many. featured in 28 games the season we won number 19 - didn’t taste a loss or a draw until we had already won the league after the League suspension.

Played 90 minutes consecutively across 12 crucial meat grinder winter period fixtures - winning them all - to make the league all but un winnable for any other.

The 3:0 loss to Watford the only game he wasn’t available for all season.

Of the games he played the full 90 minutes in for 2019/20 it was:

Not bad for someone so many call a liability.

He isn’t perfect - who is - but has been so important for us across Klopp’s tenure and remains so today.
