Kellerher is 25 and I'd hazard a guess he's better than all of them at this point now. I think he's been very hard done by. Whenever he's stepped in he has rarely been anything other than spot on and totally reliable.
He'd have been an absolutely great replacement for Allisson whenever the Big Bear decides to move on or retire.
It's just too bad the club seem to have come to accept that he (Kelleher) wants more first team football and will likely leave us at the end of the season, hence they're getting a replacement this past window.
It's always a tough ask for a young player on the cusp having to play behind a solid starter and bide your time while your contemporaries are getting playing time.
See : Solanke and all that time he spent being Firmino's backup and not knowing if he'd ever be a starter - and the work he's doing for the Spurs now.
Again, could have been a great replacement for Bobby. A natural 9 in the traditional mold, and more dependable (health and injurywise) than Jota, and arguably more clinical than Darwin.
