Think it was 24 goals, 20 assists for the total League campaign of 02/03 so you'd think he was pretty close to double figures for both by Christmas of 2002.

Both of them are playing the game. For all we know salah has no intention of signing on and is looking at a new challenge.

On the flip side, maybe the club has no intention of matching what he wants because of his age and it's a case of who blinks first.

Right now we are only hearing from salah with the odd comment after games.

The big concern is that as long as these contracts are not sorted, it could affect our season in the 2nd half.
