Agree. They're generational players,two of the GoaTs of LFC who we'll be lucky to see anyone as good as in our lifetimes. Certainly at Liverpool.
FSG need to give themselves the best chance. That's currently not looking like what they're doing. It will not look good for them at all if they don't do what's best. Bollocks to this age,resale value thing. Some players are outside of that model and VvD and Salah most definitely are.
I genuinely don't see all three of Salah,Trent,Virgil staying. Atleast one will go.

Big Virg will be the one that we'll get nowhere near replacing, no matter how much money we throw at it. Top CBs are few and far between in todays game. Certainly far scarcer than forwards.

I am going to stick my neck out and say we dont get anywhere near what we achieved in the last 7 years without van Djik. £85m seemed like mental money at the time. I'd comfortabley have paid double having seen him play week in week out.
